Kathmandu, January 4
Rotary RI District 3292 published a book highlighting the contributions and stories of 100 women who have dedicated their time towards inspiring and uplifting Nepal.
The women in the book, 100 Women Stories, come from various sectors like police, military, business enterprise, social service, administration, and private sector as well as state-level workers from all over Nepal.
The women included in the book are Rajin Rayamajhi, Rupa Khadka, Sunita Dangol, Kabita Thapa, Manju Mishra, Benju Saroj, Bidhya Neupane, Basumaya Tamang, Sumeera Shrestha and Kabita Pandey amongst several others.
Also one of the characters in the book, Kathmandu Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol among others released the book in Kathmandu recently.
The publisher says the aim of the book is to appreciate and recognise women who inspire others through their actions in several occupations and sectors.
